About David

David believes that every word has meaning, every sentence has a story. He cries that every poem speaks of a moment. As the people in this world trudge on through our seconds we become moments that when strung together create a lifetime. Some may say that life has no use or value. No meaning. He begs to differ… It’s what you count as value and use that matter most.

David resides in the Pacific Northwest where he feels that the gray and gloom feeds his inner poet and feeds his desire to write. Somewhere deep lies the poet that screams in his soul to be let out into the darkness of day that the unique Sound area has to offer.

He believes that poetry should speak for itself and offers no interpretation, meaning, excuses, nor apologies for his words. He is constantly striving for the perfect poem, searching for it in every moment, place and person. His favorite poets are Byron and Poe.

David hopes for a quiet mind and a foggy morning to start his journey into another day. He wishes for in-depth conversations with friends at the local coffee house. He believes coffee and fellowship are the elixirs to fine health and an active psych.
